Important Update

As of June 1st, 2011, SPD International has changed its focus as a site. The forum and message boards are still available, bigger and better than ever, at our new home at SPD Support. This site, however, is soon to become the home to a blog.

What blog? Well, Michelle Morris, founder and administrator of SPD International, is currently headed to Maine to break ground on a brand new summer camp for families of children with Sensory Processing Disorder. She will begin to report on her progress in the northeastern state as soon as she can, and this site will be home to the blog that will report on the progress.

Once the camp is set to open for business, this site will also become home to the camp itself. People will be able to come here to find info on the camp, maps, stories, updates, and more as soon as the camp is available. Until then, please stop by to visit us on SPD Support!

Welcome to SPD International, the free and open website that is dedicated to parents, adults, and professionals whose lives are effected by Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD) in some way. What makes SPD International different from all those other SPD sites out there? We may be an SPD support community, but that is not the only thing we will be discussing here!

At SPD International, we realize that SPD does not dominate our lives. We may be here because we have children with SPD, or have SPD ourselves, but we are all typical, everyday human beings, with interests and thoughts of our own. There aren't many topics that are off limits here, really. This is your opportunity to socialize with, and get to know others in the SPD community in a pressure free, laid back environment!
